International Women's Day

International Women’s Day is celebrated every on 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal in the movement for Women’s rights worldwide.

When you lift up women, you lift up humanity!

Also in Moshi we celebrated the international Women’s Day. Last week we presented together with other organizations in Moshi district seven powerful women, which we are admire. They should be regognize, because of there efforts and contribution to the Tanzanian community.

We shared seven women with the following categories: Journalist, Gender activist, Disibilty rights activist, politican, Gender activist, filmmaker and Fashion model.

Congrutulations from us, for the huge work they have already done and will do in the future. To fight for more women rights in Moshi and Tanzania!

On Wednesday, 8 people visited the Karanga Prison and distribute 50 menstruation pads for the women.

Sunday and Monday there was a huge exhibition at Uhuru park, where many organisations and facilities offer and published their work. You get involved in discussion about Menstruation, Pregnancy, HIV/ AIDS, etc., but mainly about Women roles and human rights in the world.

Also music, food and dance was offered for the large audience on Monday.
