Abdullah
After an accident Abdullah went through very difficult times. He found new motivation for his life and joined Songambele. Today he is an active member of the organization and is involved in all activities.
Maria
Maria was falling from a tree and lost her consciousness. When she woke up at the hospital she was paralized. She had to stay inside her house for about two years. Songambele met Maria and helped her to buy her first wheelchair.
Jumaa
Jumaa is 17 years old and was using a very old and insufficiant wheelchair. It was not possible for him to go to school and to manouver in his parents home. Songambele helped his family to buy a new wheelchair.

OUR FIRST 2023 SUCCESS STORY.
Meet Elibariki, he once had a great quality of life with a close family and a lot of friends. When he was 12 years old, he fell down due to body inflammation. He tried to experiment with traditional and modern medicine to heal but nothing he did healed him. He is now 27 years old, his illness is still unexplained and his body is still weak and dysfunctional. Elibariki’s illness has kept him inside for the last 15 years and this has caused him to lose all his friends and resulting to his father leaving his family. All of which caused Elibariki much pain and heartbreak. When I asked Elibariki, “What can we do for you?” He responded, “I want a wheelchair so that I can get out and see the light, even a maize plant can’t grow well if you plant it inside.” It is clear a wheelchair will change Elibariki’s life for the better and we could make his dreams come true by helping him go outside and see the light of the world, figuratively and literally.-
