The Biggest challenges after an accident

After my accident I thought my life was over. I lost hope, and to accept the situation was something that I couldn’t handle. It was the most difficult time of my life.. I lost dropped out of college and had to stay home for a very long time.

Challenges in the house​ - After returning from the hospital, the biggest challenges that I faced was to maneuver my wheelchair inside my home. And unfortunately the wheelchair I was using at that time was not appropriate for my place.

Transportation ​- Transportation was another big challenge. I had to use public transport which is not accessible and very difficult and frustrating. First you have to pay for your wheelchair and then yourself which is very expensive.

Attitude from other people​ – on the street people treated as if am not normal person; some had viewed me as beggar, someone with no value to them. Sometime the attitude towards me from the people was really hurt me psychologically and I lose my confidence
